1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using HappyPet, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use HappyPet. By using HappyPet, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • We may reclaim usernames that impersonate others or violate policy.

4. User Content (Pet-Only)

HappyPet is for pet-related content. You may upload and share photos, captions, and profile information that are genuinely about pets or animal care.

  • You retain ownership of your content.
  • By posting, you grant HappyPet a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute your content within the app and related services.

Allowed examples:

  • Original photos or videos of pets or animals that you created.
  • Pet care tips, training updates, adoption stories.
  • Product photos tied to pet use (non-spammy).

Not allowed:

  • Posts that are not primarily pet-related.
  • AI-generated, AI-edited, or synthetic images or videos.
  • Deepfakes, face swaps, or synthetic voice or visual media.
  • Graphic violence, animal harm, or unsafe behavior.
  • Sexual or suggestive content; minors or pets in sexual contexts.
  • Hate speech, harassment, bullying, or doxxing.
  • Spam, scams, or promotions unrelated to pets.
  • Illegal goods or services; sale or trade of animals in violation of law.
  • Unauthorized copyrighted material or others' private data.
You represent and warrant that all content you upload is original, not generated or altered by AI or similar automated tools, and that you have all rights necessary to post it.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Do not harass, bully, or impersonate others.
  • Do not upload viruses, spam, or malicious code.
  • Do not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.

6. Moderation & Enforcement

To maintain a pet-focused, safe community, we use a combination of automated signals and human review to detect off-topic or unsafe content.

  • We may remove or hide content that violates these Terms.
  • We may limit features, warn, suspend, or terminate accounts.
  • We may retain copies of removed or flagged items for a limited time to handle moderation, safety, and appeals.
  • We may use automated tools and human review to detect AI or synthetic media.
  • We may request additional information to verify authenticity; refusal may result in removal or account action.
  • Reports of objectionable content are reviewed within 24 hours.

6A. Community Guidelines (Summary)

  • Keep it pet-related and respectful.
  • No harmful or unsafe content involving animals.
  • No harassment, hate, or personal attacks.
  • No spam or unrelated promotions.
Detailed community guidelines may be updated over time.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in HappyPet (excluding user content) belong to Aurseek. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

HappyPet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurseek shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of HappyPet.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of HappyPet after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

12. For Australian Users (Online Safety Act)

We are committed to online safety and compliance with the Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth).

  • Minimum Age (16+): Effective December 10, 2025, you must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use HappyPet.
  • Content Codes: We comply with age-restricted content codes (effective Dec 27, 2025) prohibiting Class 1 and Class 2 material.
  • Prohibited Content: You must not post "Class 1" material (e.g., child abuse material, terror content) or "Class 2" material (e.g., R18+ content) as defined by the eSafety Commissioner.
  • Reporting: If you report harmful content and we do not resolve it, you may be able to report it to the eSafety Commissioner at esafety.gov.au.
